Location: St. Louis area. Contact Dean Smith to register and for address.
Scale: HO
Date: Tuesday, September 2 (the evening before the convention)
Time: Arrive at 6:30 pm. Orientation at 6:45. Operating session from 7:00 to 10:00.
Number of operators: Seven
Information: Park in front. Come in through side door. Do not knock or ring bell.
Bring a Digitrax throttle if you want to. Phones are primarily used as throttles.

Dean Smith
Name of Layout: East Tennessee and Western North Carolina—Vida Division Railroad
Location: Rolla, MO - Approximately two hours southwest of the convention center.
Scale: HO/HOn3
Date: Tuesday, September 2 (the day before the convention)
Time: Open House: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM Operating Session: 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM
Information: This open house/operating session is intended primarily for people traveling east on I-44 on their way to the convention, and for anyone else who wants to make the trip to visit the Vida Division. The operating session will be held in conjunction with the open house, so pre-registration is not required.

Name of Layout: Meramec Valley Lines
Location: Sullivan, MO—Approximately 1 ½ hours southwest of the convention center.

Date: Tuesday, September 2 (the day before the convention)
Time: Open House: 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM
Mike will have JMRI switch lists and throttles ready. Stop by and run a train!

Train operation will be held in conjunction with the open house, so pre-registration is not required.

K-10’s Model Trains
Name of Layout: ATSP, UP, & SP (60 feet by 81 feet layout)
Location: 19 Schiber Court, Maryville, IL (5 miles/15 minutes from convention site)

Time: 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Information: K-10 Model Trains is a hobby shop that opens its layout for running trains every Thursday evening.
Store hours during the convention: Thursday, September 4th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Saturday, September 6th from Noon to 4:00 pm
Purchases at the hobby shop are CASH ONLY, but no fee for operating session.
